MCAT Test Fees
Regular Examination Fee for taking the MCAT costs $175. Students availing to tae their exam on a Sunday have to ay an additional 10$. Students applying from outside US through international centers have to pay an additional 60$ along with the regular testing fees. The fee for late registration is 50$ and center change and returned check will cost the student 20$ each. All payments have to be made in US dollars only. It is not possible to stop the registration process once the registration processed has been started. Student who do not sit for the MCAT are eligible for a partial refund. All payment made during the registration process have to be made through credit card (MasterCard or VISA), check, cashier’s check, or money order payable in U.S. funds and drawn on a bank in the United States. Checks or money orders should be drawn in favor of MCAT and submitted during registration. The registration fee includes the fee for processing the registration, scoring of the test, and reporting the scores to the student. Scores and other identifying information will be sent up to 6 colleges of the student’s choice on request and to undergraduate health professions advisor; to the AMCAS Score Release Service; and to the Medical Minority Applicant Registry at no additional charge. Students requesting the fee wavier facility have to submit a fee-waiver application form along with their registration. only students in the low income levels; i.e. the total family income is below 5000$ are eligible for the fee waiver facility. Students are required to
- visit financial aid and complete necessary form. Students are advised to check out their working hours on their website;
- know up to 10 programs that you are applying to;
- turn in the form while at financial aid;
The approval of the wavier takes about a week to be granted to students after being processed. Once the student is approved for the fee he will be provided with a letter for each school he is applying stating his application fee waiver.
