GED Test Fee

The general fee for the complete GED testing is $65. This amount includes the charges for the testing sessions, the score report, and the state certificate. Candidate’s can take the test in individual sections for a fee of 15$ for each section except for the writing section. This amount is the same for retaking a test section. The cost for taking the writing section is 25$. The cost for replacement of any test material destroyed by the student is 200$. 7.50$ is charged for providing duplicate transcript and 2$ for letter of certification. The letter of certification will be issued only if a student submits a request for the same in writing. Students wishing to continue their test in a test center different from the previous center where he had started his GED test will have to pay 15$ for each section he wishes to take in the change test center.
